Technical

  • Groundsman Professional Turfing Iron

  • 28" / 711mm MYD Handle

  • This turfing iron is a specialist tool and is designed to facilitate the lifting of turf

  • A flat heart shape blade is positioned at an angle to the long handle, so that it can be pushed along the ground under each cut turf

  • By using a back and forth motion, the flat blade will cut through the soil and roots to produce a smooth surface that makes it much easier to reuse the turf elsewhere

  • Fitted with an ergonomically designed, MYD handle, it has been designed to reduce fatigue and back strain and is an indispensable aid when lifting turf to be moved and re-laid
